The City of El Centro will be hosting a Día De Los Muertos celebration on November 2, 2022 at the El Centro Community Center (375 S. First Street) from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm. The celebration will include the unveiling of the altar and “ofrenda”. Live acoustic entertainment will be provided by the talented musician, Rubén Hernandez, and traditional cultural dances performed by Sunshine Folklorico. The event is free of charge and traditional Mexican refreshments and pastries will be provided.
The public is invited to bring a photo of their loved one to display on the altar. Please provide photos to the Community Center by October 28, 2022.
