Planning an Event?

Any organized activity involving the use of, or having impact upon, public property, public facilities, parks, sidewalks, and street areas requires a Special Events permit. Complete Permit Applications must be received by the City of El Centro no later than thirty (30) days prior to the actual date of your event. Applications that are not submitted at least 30 days before the event may not be accepted.

Seeking a Sponsorship?
If you would like to request a cash or in-kind sponsorship from the City of El Centro, please complete and submit the appropriate Community Sponsorship Program Application. Please note that all in-kind sponsorship applications must be submitted to the Parks & Recreation Department located at 375 South First Street, El Centro. All cash sponsorship applications must be submitted to the City Manager’s Office located at 1275 W. Main Street, El Centro. Sponsorship applications must be submitted no less than 45 days and no more than one year before the program date.
