El Centro, Ca. — December 15, 2023 — The City of El Centro is accepting nominations for this year’s Mardi
Gras King & Queen.
The King and Queen will host the City of El Centro’s Mardi Gras King & Queen Coronation reception on
January 11, 2024, and participate in interviews with various media entities to promote the Mardi Gras Light
Parade & Street Festival.
Nominations are due January 4, 2024. For more information, contact Adriana Nava at 760-337-4555 or email
at anava@cityofelcentro.org. Nomination forms can be picked up at the City of El Centro Community Center,
375 S. First Street. Nomination forms should be returned to the same location. Forms can also be
downloaded from the City of El Centro’s Facebook page @ElCentroCa.
