El Centro, Ca. – August 2, 2024 – On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, Sergeant Jeffery Malcomb received a Letter of Recognition from the City of El Centro Police Department for his exceptional skills, tireless efforts, and unwavering commitment, which significantly contributed to the success and smooth operation of the El Centro Police Department.
Sergeant Malcomb had a critical role in implementing several new technological-based programs, which are focused on providing better service to our community. He demonstrated exemplary technical expertise, innovative problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to addressing and resolving multiple program-related challenges.
The El Centro Police Department recognized and thanked Sergeant Malcomb for his dedication to service and hard work while serving as the department’s Project Specialist.
Sergeant Malcomb was hired by the El Centro Police Department in June 2014 and assigned to Patrol. In 2017, Sergeant Malcomb joined the SWAT team and is currently a Team Leader. From 2018 – 2023, he was assigned to the Investigations Division as a detective and promoted to sergeant in May 2023.
Sergeant Malcomb is married to his wonderful wife Tara, and they have two beautiful young daughters.
