El Centro, Ca. – July 23, 2024 – The Friends of El Community Services Foundation, in collaboration with the City of El Centro, is thrilled to announce the Indoor Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser. The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Sports Pavilion at 770 Park Avenue. This exciting event aims to raise funds for youth scholarships supporting recreation and library programs, including swim lessons, NBN registration fees, and library initiatives.

Join us for a lively cornhole competition open to enthusiasts and supporters of the Foundation. The event features both recreational and competitive brackets, with teams competing for prizes and the coveted title of Cornhole Champions. Winners will receive cash prizes totaling $700: $400 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place.

Alongside the tournament action, attendees can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with a beer garden hosted by the El Centro Firefighters Association, music spun by DJ Robert Flynt, delicious offerings from local food trucks, and various activities for both participants and spectators.

Registration is now open, and teams are encouraged to secure their spots early. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, everyone is welcome to participate and contribute to this worthy cause. You can conveniently register through PayPal using the QR Code provided on the flyer.

For those interested in supporting the event through sponsorship, opportunities include becoming a Board Sponsor for $250 or a Winner’s Circle Sponsor for $500.
