Join the City of El Centro, Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Los Vigilantes for the Mardi Gras 2025 Celebration on February 22, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Immerse yourself in the festive spirit with a vibrant Street Festival and the iconic Mardi Gras Light Parade!
“Mardi Gras brings a spark of excitement and tradition to our city,” said City of El Centro Mayor Tomás Oliva. “We’re proud to host an event celebrating community spirit with music, food, and fun for everyone.”
Be sure to wave and greet this year’s Mardi Gras King and Queen, Edward Singh and Martha Cardenas Singh, as they pass by on their float in the parade.
Event Details
The festivities begin with the Street Festival at 5 p.m., featuring food, crafts, live music, and a beer garden. The Light Parade starts at 6 p.m., traveling from Eighth Street and Wensley Avenue to Eleventh and Main Street. Experience a stunning display of floats, costumes, and performances that bring the magic of Mardi Gras to El Centro.
