The City of El Centro invites the community to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the highly anticipated Southern Pump
Station on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 11 a.m. This critical infrastructure project marks a significant step in enhancing the city’s wastewater management system and paving the way for future development in the area.
The Southern Pump Station will play a vital role in improving wastewater flow and supporting the city’s growing infrastructure needs. The ceremony will provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the project’s benefits and its impact on the community’s future.
The groundbreaking ceremony will take place at the project site, located on West Danenberg Drive. Attendees are encouraged to follow the designated access route via South 4th Street and West Danenberg Drive. Due to construction, access to Danenberg Drive through Dogwood Road will be closed.
Parking will be available near the site, and the public is advised to wear comfortable closed-toe shoes.
