El Centro, CA., June 3, 2025: The City of El Centro Parks and Recreation Division is rolling out a high-energy mobile recreation experience this summer and fall with the “Rockstar Rec on Wheels.” The program brings free-themed activities to neighborhood parks, offering children and families an exciting way to stay active and engaged.
The mobile program features interactive games, music, and crafts based on a variety of themes such as “Tropic Like It’s Hot!,” “Paws & Peeps,” and “Snow Much Fun.” Each event is designed to deliver fun, community connection, and plenty of rockstar energy.
“This program is about more than just recreation — it’s about bringing joy and opportunity directly into our neighborhoods,” said Mayor Sonia Carter. “We’re proud to offer this fun and free experience for families across El Centro.”
