The City of El Centro is excited to kick off the holiday season with the Rockin’ Santa Christmas Tree Lighting and Street Fair on Friday, Dec. 6, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Fire Station 3, located at 1910 N. Waterman Ave.
This year’s festivities, hosted by Mayor Sylvia Marroquin and City Manager Cedric Ceseña, promise to be bigger and brighter than ever. Visitors can explore dazzling new Christmas photo spots, including a giant walk-through ornament perfect for capturing magical family moments. Santa’s Sleigh and a nearly 30-foot-tall Christmas tree will serve as breathtaking backdrops, filling hearts with holiday joy.
The evening will feature fun for all ages, including:
- Live music and entertainment
- Cookie decorating
- A variety of delicious food vendors
- Free photos with Santa and special holiday gifts for kids
At 7 p.m., Santa will make a grand entrance to light the new tree, officially kicking off the holiday season in El Centro. Mark your calendar, gather your loved ones, and enjoy an unforgettable night of holiday magic, community spirit, and festive fun.
