The city of El Centro is ready to celebrate the long-awaited grand opening of Buena Vista Park with a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 3, from 9 to 11 a.m. at 1010 Fieldview Avenue.
This exciting, family-friendly event will debut one of El Centro’s newest gems – a vibrant park built for play, relaxation, and community connection. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and lawn chair to soak in a festive morning filled with lawn games, music, and free hot dogs for the first 200 visitors.
Buena Vista Park is the latest addition to El Centro’s growing park system and was made possible through Measure P funding and a grant from the California Climate Investments Urban Greening Program. The park offers residents a fresh new space to enjoy the outdoors and connect with neighbors.
The city invites all residents to come out, celebrate and help make this ribbon cutting a memorable moment for the community.
