El Centro, CA., April 16, 2025:
The City of El Centro welcomed hundreds of families to Bucklin Park on Saturday, April 12, for the annual Easter Eggstravaganza – one of the Valley’s most beloved spring traditions.
Children ages 2 to 14 raced across the park in search of more than 11,000 colorful eggs during one of the largest egg hunts in the region. Families also enjoyed a festive morning filled with a Kids Zone, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, and a variety of local food vendors offering tasty treats.
“The energy and excitement from the community was incredible,” said Mayor Pro Tem Sonia Carter. “Events like this bring people together and reflect the spirit of El Centro. I’m so proud to be part of a city that values family, tradition, and celebration.”
Community Services Director Adriana Nava praised the dedication of the staff and volunteers who made the event possible.
“This year’s Eggstravaganza was a great success thanks to the hard work of our Parks and Recreation team,” said Nava. “We’re thrilled to see so many smiling faces and grateful for the continued community support.”
The City of El Centro extends its appreciation to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s Easter Eggstravaganza a memorable celebration for all.
