El Centro Library Introduces New AWE Computers for Young Learners

El Centro, Ca.- October 17, 2024 – The City of El Centro Library is excited to announce the arrival of three brand new AWE computers, replacing the previous units that served the community for 13 years. These upgraded stations are specifically designed to support young children in developing essential learning and technology skills.

The AWE Stations provide a secure, standalone learning environment that does not connect to the Internet, offering age-appropriate, engaging, and academically relevant content for children. These computers are an excellent resource for school readiness, helping young learners to explore and learn in a safe and interactive way.

“We are thrilled to bring these new AWE computers to our young patrons,” said Carla Mason, Library Director. “The upgraded technology will provide a safe and fun way for children to engage in educational activities, ensuring they have the tools needed to support their growth and readiness for school.”

The upgraded AWE Stations are available for use during regular library hours at the City of El Centro Library, located at 1198 N. Imperial Avenue, El Centro, CA 92243.
