Adults with a valid El Centro Library card in good standing can check out a hotspot for up to 1 week.

Hotspot Information

• Hotspots provide fast and reliable 4G internet service.
• One hotspot can connect up to 15 devices (phones, laptops, tablets, printers, cameras, etc.) at the same time.
• Hotspots may not be used outside of the United States.

Hotspot Check-Out

• Hotspots may be checked out for 7 days.
• One hotspot per patron/household at a time.
• Hotspots are checked out with the hotspot, a charger, and a carry case.

Returning the Hotspot

• Do not place hotspots in the book return. Please hand the case with all of the pieces to staff at the Circulation Service desk.
• Hotspot service is turned off the first day it is overdue and will not access the internet until the hotspot is returned.
• A $75 replacement fee will be charged for a lost or damaged hotspot. Case replacement is $20.
