‘Level Up at Your Library!’ is the 2025 Summer Reading Program

This summer, dare yourself to reach a new level of reading, music, gaming, knowledge and fun at the library. Reading is a powerful way to ‘level up’. Kids who get into the habit of reading for fun ‘level up’ in school and life, because reading helps grow all kinds of thinking skills, insight, imagination, and logic. It’s a natural way for kids to learn! The reading habit helps teens and adults get ahead in the very same ways.

Sign up starting June 9 and the fun goes on through July 24

Reading is the main event! How much can you read this summer? All ages are welcome to take part. Performers will share stories, music, puppet shows and more. There’s a reading log available for kids, teens and adults (ask for it at your library or download a copy HERE), crafting fun, magic show , and lots more coming up in our summer calendar. 

How Summer at Your Library Works

It’s a relaxed program that works for everybody. Participation is simple.  

1) Sign up HERE or in person at the El Centro Library.

2) Read, learn, and play – and track your reading.  Check the Library Calendar for fun library programs!

3) Return your reading log by Monday, July 14 (no exceptions).
