In response to Hurricane Kay, Sand and empty sand bags will be made available for El Centro residents at the Public Works facility located at 307 W. Brighton Avenue, El Centro CA 92243 on Thursday September 8 between 7 am and 2 pm. After 2 pm, please visit 925 S. 2nd Street, El Centro CA 92243 for the same service. Limited amounts of shovels will be provided for residents to fill their bags. Click the link above for tips and information on how to prepare for the storm.
