Emergencies:
If you are experiencing or witnessing an emergency, immediately stop and call 911. Please remember that 911 is for active emergencies – all other calls should go to the non-emergency line below. Calling 911 when unnecessary ties up our limited resources and could cause delay to legitimate emergencies.
All Other Calls:
For all other calls, dial (760) 352-2111. Our non-emergency line is still monitored 24 hours a day, every day.
At the Station:
Crimes can always be reported in person at the El Centro Police Department, located at 150 North 11th Street in El Centro. A phone is available inside the lobby for reporting crimes outside of business hours. For very minor offenses, older offenses, or even non-crimes such as property you may desire to file the report online using the “E-Reports Online” tab on this page. Reports can also be made in person at the Records Department. Please see the Records Department Page for their hours and information.
