Uniform Allowance
Sworn Safety Employees – $1,500 annually (an additional $500 for initial purchase of uniforms)
Public Safety Dispatcher – $500 annually

AA/AS Degree, or with POST Intermediate w/30 College credits – $50 per pay period
BA/BS Degree, or with POST Advanced w/45 College Credits – $75 per pay period
Master’s Degree – $100 per pay period
Non-Sworn Safety Employees
AA/AS Degree – $25 per pay period
BA/BS Degree – $50 per pay period
Master’s Degree – $75 per pay period

Shift Differential
Sworn Safety Employees – $90 per pay period
Non-Sworn Safety Employees – $75 per pay period

Trainer Pay 
Sworn Safety Employees (Field Training Officer) – $35 per shift
Non-Sworn Safety Employees (Communications Training Officer) – $30 per shift

Bilingual Pay
$40 per pay period
Personal Necessity Leave
Non-Sworn Safety Employees – Up to 24 hours of paid leave

Holiday Pay
Sworn Safety Employees – 80 hours holiday pay
Non-Sworn Safety Employees – 13 paid holidays

Miscellaneous Sworn Safety Employee Benefits
Motors Pay: 7.5%
Hazard Pay: 3% while assigned to Crisis Response Team
Expert Pay: $225 per month (Narcotics, firearms, traffic accident investigations, child abuse, driving under the influence, and gangs)
Canine Officer Pay: 10 hours of overtime per pay period including on-call and call-back pay
Special Assignment Pay: $160 per month (investigations, task force officer, school resource officer)
