The application period opens Saturday, March 22, and closes Sunday, April 6 at midnight. Applications will be available online at www.cityofelcentro.org and in person at the City Clerk’s Office, 1275 Main St., El Centro, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Completed applications may be submitted by email to cityclerk@cityofelcentro.org or delivered in person to the City Clerk’s Office.
To be eligible, candidates must be at least 18 years old, reside within El Centro city limits, and be a
registered voter in the city at the time of application submission.
The City Council will review applications and select the top five candidates. A special meeting for public interviews will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 16.
