The Wastewater Division collects, treats and disposes of all of the City’s sewage at the El Centro Wastewater Treatment Plant. All sewage is treated to levels set by the Environmental Protection Agency. Staff is responsible for operating and maintaining the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 125 miles of sewer lines and 13 lift stations
