FREE Used Oil Recycling

Motor oil should NEVER be poured onto the ground, into storm drains, or tossed into trash cans (even in a sealed container). One gallon of used motor oil can contaminate 1 million gallons of fresh water—a year’s supply of water for 50 people.¹ Recycling used motor oil conserves resources and protects our soil, groundwater, streams, and rivers.

The City of El Centro provides a FREE curbside used oil collection program through CR&R. The City will provide containers and will pick up used motor oil and filters for recycling. To schedule a pickup, please contact CR&R at 760-482-5656.
