Family Treasure Nights
Tuesday, March 2, 2021 was Family Treasure Night in celebration of Dr. Seuss’s Birthday and Read Across America. Dr. Seuss themed flyers described the upcoming event, as well as its availability online via Zoom. The event included, the reading of a Dr. Seuss book, a Dr. Seuss themed craft, which the kids completed together via Zoom, and bingo games and a raffle.
The event flyer offered a free book and craft kits, which would be available via curbside one day prior to the event. Bingo and raffle winners were recognized and their prizes were immediately available the following day. Seventy-two participants registered for Dr. Seuss’s Family Treasure Night. Pedro, our Library Page, donned a Cat in the Hat costume as he popped up here and there throughout the event.
